Since 2003,the new Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport is 3500masl !! From 2009 direct flights were opened from Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, other than Chengdu. Seated high among the snow capped mountain range, the airport has one of the most scenic view of the mountain range....amazing. The Sichuan Airline has good service and safety measures...they even insists we buckle up our jackets and coats !! |
